Pastors & Staff
Rev. Karen Tannheimer
I am so grateful that you might be searching for a church home, if you are, we are hoping you will join us. Our church is a blend of young and old and I will confess we are a bit traditional in our approach to worship. We enjoy the ancient words of our faith, in song and liturgy, but that is where “traditional” ends. We are excited about what God is doing in our community today and our earnest hope is that you’ll find our church a place you can learn, grow and serve our risen Savior.
I have been an Elder (Pastor) in the United Methodist Church since 2005 and have served in three other United Methodist Churches. I love the Bible and strive to preach and teach so that the Bible is the focus; my goal is making it applicable to today’s culture, life and our modern dilemmas. I earned my undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Business then completed my Master of Divinity at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena. I am married to Jim (the love of my life) and have three adult daughters. I love to play golf, watch movies and play with my three dogs, Minnie, Charlie and Lucy. I serve as a Hospital Chaplain in our community during the week, and I am passionate about sharing my faith in Jesus Christ with you. I look forward to our being friends.
